"Seven of Pentacles" from the upcoming Whimsy Woods Tarot created by me and Deborah Blake.

I had some of the paintings from Whimsy Woods with me at Gen Con, including this one! People were so excited to hear about this deck. I currently have 43 paintings complete, 37 to go!!!! All handmade with ink, watercolor, and acryla gouache.

Publication will be in 2027 from Llewellyn Worldwide.

Wildschweine in freier Wildbahn sieht man leider nich so häufig. Solange es hell ist lassen sie sich ungern sehen. Deshalb ist es schon sehr außergewöhnlich noch in der frühen Dämmerung eine große Rotte vor zu haben. Im ganzen Feld verteilt waren ein gutes Dutzend "erwachsene" Schweine und zig kleine Ferkel. Sie kamen immer näher, bis dann eine Bache plötzllich die Nase in die Luft hielt. Schnupper, schnupper da hatte sie mich wohl gerochen. Also ab ging es ins Nachbarfeld wo der hohe Raps gute Deckung bietet. Und wenn einer läuft, dann laufen alle... Weg waren sie. Ein außerordentliches Erlebnis, was ich wohl nie vergessen werde :-)
