Photographers: Any tips on a good #Pixelmator Pro - #Lightroom workflow? I like to do photo development in LR CC and then I am missing an "Edit in Pixelmator" button like you get with PS for layer based stuff like compositing and overlaying. Manually exporting from LR, opening in PM, editing, re-importing in LR and stacking with the original is kinda time consuming. #Photography

Pour essayer de me débarrasser de mon abonnement à #Photoshop, j'ai testé #Pixelmator Pro. J'avoue que le logiciel est pas mal, mais j'ai surtout regardé les fonctionnalités que j'utilise le plus, à savoir la correction des anomalies (pour enlever les poussières), le recadrage non rectangulaire (donc des côtés de différentes tailles et pas parallèles), et l'export web avec des tailles choisies :
- le dépoussierage marche super bien
- le recadrage non rectangulaire n'est pas proposé
- l'export web propose le webp, mais on ne peut pas personnaliser la taille d'export
Bref, pas convaincu.
J'aime pas Gimp, une autre piste ?

I've been a happy Pixelmator user for a couple years now. When I opened the app just now I got a modal that they'd been acquired by Apple. I got strong Soundjam vibes and I don't want this to be the end of a great, independently developed image editing app. Also their website is down. #photography #Pixelmator #apple

My Adobe CC sub was about to run out so I cancelled it. Finally!

I'll be using Affinity Photo 2, Pixelmator and Photomator from now on. I'd already bought them but wasn't using them.

The irony is Apple are trying to buy the Pixelmator apps so they may end up being part of Apple Photos in future. Or dare I hope that Aperture gets resurrected?
