As they say after #PyConUS, "Mind is empty, heart is full"
Leaving the Three Rivers on a rainy day. It's been a great PyCon this time around.
We'll have a full recap blog post out soon, but we wanted to take a moment to celebrate a fantastic #PyConUS! We all had a great time. Thank you so much #PyConUS2025 organizers! And a special thank you to our friends @django, who shared their booth space and collaborated on meetups with us. We were a powerful team of advocates for Python web dev!

From my experience the most memorable keynotes include some group singing so I appreciated that the keynote from @drkariljordan ended with everyone singing a variation of "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge. We are all a part of the #Python community.
The call to actions included at the end:
* Join a community
* Teach what you know
* Contribute to social good projects
* Amplify each other's stories
Loved the keynote by @drkariljordan, Executive Director at @thecarpentries, today at #PyConUS! It was awesome to hear about the instructors and individuals that have made use of #Python to make an impact.
Some of the people called out directly include @aflaxman, @fgazzelloni, and @marijane (the others couldn't be located on Mastodon).
My #PyConUS session is later today, let's find out together if your requirements.txt is haunted?
Join the haunt in Ballroom BC at 1:45PM, don't be scared!
Apparently, the Python documentary will have its world premiere at @europython.eu! #Python #PyConUS #PyConUS2025 #EuroPython #EuroPython2025
Whoever created this, thank you. This captures the energy of open source perfectly. If you see a problem you can be the one to fix it, and that's amazing!
That was an incredible talk by @marcgibbons about making major changes, whether it's within a program you're working on or within your own life.
"There's zero shame in asking for help and I would go as far as saying it's a requirement."
"By definition we have to break things. It's something we must not only accept, but embrace."
"You don't normally hear 'I have good news' and 'You have cancer' in the same sentence."
First talk of the day at #PyConUS: Finding 2.0 by @marcgibbons
As someone who has been delaying a new major version of #Select2 for years, this talk feels like a great one for me.
That was a fantastic keynote by @roguelynn today at #PyConUS about the necessity of play.
It really resonated with me (and I'm sure many others) having worked on and maintained many projects and faced burnout. It brought back memories of an open space that occurred at PyCon US 2021 where this issue was brought up and heavily discussed.
At #PyConUS and wondering what to do after the plenary sessions? Interested in #opensource #security?
Dustin Ingram and I are hosting a supply-chain security open space with many talks! Come hang out and meet fellow security-minded Pythonistas in Room 321 at 10:30:
