Today it is October 12th, which means it is International #CoffeeOutside day^1!

The weather looked great, a tad on the chilly side, but the sun came out after three days of days of storm, rain, and just general greyness. The plan was to cycle up to Drachenberg (meaning, kite mountain), boil some water, and do a couple of Aeropress filter coffees. Halfway through the forest we heard L's back tyre hissing, not a good sign. Even worse, the sidewall of his tyre got a hole and it looked like it was opening even more. We ended up patching the inner tube and then sticking a few more patches on the inside of the tyre, then sticking a chocolate bar wrapper over it, and then putting that whole sandwich back into the bike. To our surprise it held, not only up to the Drachenberg, but then back down to a bike shop and all the back way home!
Up on the mountain we had multiple rounds …
