OFC it is *only* a gut feeling, but I have been having it for many months now:
At some point, #Elmo will befall the fate of #Icarus. He will fly too close to the sun and the wax binding his feathers together will melt.
He will be coming crushing down, so hard.
One inflection point in this trajectory could become him going forward with his megalomaniacal plans to found a third national party.

... as it turns out the folks from R5 were knocking on my door just as I was setting up this shot: here's my new photo backpack and my new water bottle.

They had a bunch of abandoned water bottles at the Catherwood Library so I asked the clerk: "I work for an organization founded by Elmo Roper, can I have the bottle with Elmo?" and they gave it to me.

A big ass backpak fills about half the frame, sitting on a desk that I eliminated with an R5 sigil. Strapped to the backpack is a big black water bottle with major dents, a white symbol that looks like an abstract person smiling with hair standing up and a sticker of the Sesame Street character roper in red with a white background and googly eyes and a caption that reads Hydro Flask. Behind that a few prints are partially visible.

The official X account for "Sesame Street" character Elmo was hacked over the weekend by someone who "posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts," says a spokesperson for the show who says the account has now been secured. Here's @Variety's report on what happened.
