Anyone that has worked in fast food knows how dangerous it is.
As a lefty, I received multiple burns from serving scalding hot baked beans from a ladle designed for right-handers.
A friend of mine was emptying the deep fat fryer at the end of a shift, accidentally stepped into a bucket of hot grease, and watched all the skin from his knee down slough off his leg and foot. He was out of work for months for burn treatment and skin grafts.
Speaking of grease, how many fast food workers have slipped and fallen on wet, greasy floors?
Ask anyone who has worked a fast food oven to show you the burn scars on their arms.
And knives, sharpened by professional sharpening services, cause countless injuries, some so serious they limit hand/finger functionality for life.
Food service, particularly fast food, is dangerous for adults. 10-year-olds have no place there.
