@Palky55

Mate, I'm having party level discussions about the same thing. I can't say much, but there are high level discussions which have commenced looking in detail at #GE2024 voting patterns, where #Labour stands now, & what must be achieved to retain power in 2029.

Labour's coms are comically shit! This makes matters worse when we don't have a gob on a stick, populist leader who can chat shit & people take it all in.

The fightback is gonna have to come from us mate. I've got your back ✊🏾

Next steps! Please consider getting involved in tenants/workers unions and in community groups, especially if you're also a young person.

Change is about more than voting once every 5 years; it is something we must all collectively fight for day-to-day!

It's Christmas Day for election nerds in Ireland today. Forget hurling, forget Gaelic football, our national sport is Proportional Representation - Single Transferrable Vote (PR-STV), and today we're about to witness it in all its glorious beauty!

There will be tallies, there will be spreadsheets, there will be speculation and analysis, and eventually, there will be people elected to Dáil Éireann. There is no greater spectacle in global democracy!

I highly recommend a bit of preparation before you go and vote tomorrow.

There will undoubtedly be candidates on your ballot that you won't know anything about.

Check them all out before you go and make a plan for how you're going to vote.

You don't need to vote all the way down the ballot but voting at least half way down will give you the best chance of having your vote counted.

You can check out your candidates here:

This doesn't mean that I agree fully with the above candidates; it means that transferring your vote to them will maximise our chance of stemming the flow of the far-right and ending 100 years of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael rule.

A progressive government is possible if enough of us vote for one on Friday!

As we come near the end of the campaign, I also want to give a massive thanks to all those who have supported me over recent weeks and months! 💚

I thought I knew who would be on Friday’s ballot paper from looking at posters on poles, and from leaflets through the letterbox (only one candidate has turned up in person). But using #WhichCandidate I realised about a 1/3 of the candidates in my constituency are unpreferrable to me in every way, and about 3 or 4 were unknown to me. WhichCandidate helped me make a plan for Friday #IrePol #IrishPol #GE2024 #DBN #Mastodaoine #GE24 #IrelandVotes

Another Ireland is Possible.

One in which ordinary people are put first above the profits of landlords, vulture funds, and big business.

But to do so we must end 100 years of FF/FG rule.

People Before Profit are the only party that have ruled out voting for Harris or Martin as Taoiseach.

In Galway West a vote for Maisie McMaster No. 1 is the strongest message you can send that you want a Left government instead.
