TBT Monsoon season in New Mexico is pretty amazing. Often at night we would see these lightning storms off in the distance traveling over the mountains. This is from our back yard outside of Santa Fe six years ago.

We're staying in the Navigli district in Milan. Originally the canals were built in the 12th century for transportation, then they were expanded to help transport stone for the Duomo. Fun and busy at night.

TBT Church at Night, Golden NM
This is a little church just off the Turquoise Trail on a stormy night in monsoon season ten years ago.
About a week ago, my friend and neighbor Pedro Maria (pedrommaria) met me at 2:30 and we drove into Lisbon to take photographs. This is of our little street above Maçussa as I was waiting for him.

TBT This is ten years ago, returning to Santa Fe on the Turquoise Trail after a middle of the night photo expedition. You can see the lights of Santa Fe beneath the Sangre de Christo Mountains as the dawn is just starting to appear. I just drunk up that wide open country in the Southwest. I would love to do a big oil painting of it.

TBT Thirteen years ago my wife and I were traveling through the south of the US to see family. We passed through this town - Greensboro, Alabama - and it was so arresting that I drove there late that night after we had arrived in Mississippi to take photographs. It was all decked out for Labor Day.
