Finished painting the Scouts. Will focus on basing them tomorrow and starting to work on The King miniature.

Alone this weekend. The Mr is at a weekend LARP so I'll getting uninterrupted painting sessions. :-)

#Hobbystreak days 1292-3

Very little time due to long weekend/bank holiday. Highlighted some bits in oil paint.

Am at a good stopping point for tonight. I finished painting the male Scout (left). Started the female Scout (right). Once she's done, then I'll base them at the same time. Very happy with how the male came out. I think I finally got the hang of highlighting. Sadly the pic doesn't do the work justice.

The robot is no longer remotely naked!

I actually got substantially further than this, including coloring the base sides, oil washing, adding a decal, and getting basing paste in place and drying. I should be able to finish it up tomorrow afternoon.

Painted up this World War 2 British infantry soldier using the new Army Painter historical set today to see what kind of results I could get.

Started painting my @DoctorSpork #ork tank for my #Gorkamorka klan.

Also spent an indecent amount of time putting magnets in all the pier sections. Perfection.

Also had a #Thrudball admin team meeting. All's still going well.

Today was a good day....Need to wait for a water effect to dry.

It feels like a night to watch the Avengers.

My wife says I'm painting my feelings and I guess she's right. I feel sad and tired about so many things and finding something that I could paint like that made me... not exactly happy but less sad, maybe seen, definitely proud. Hope you like it as much as I do.
Included some work in progress for when I inevitably hit the wall on my next project.

Finished the basing of my #TrenchCrusade Lion of Jabir. Stuck it in the discord for the local online hobby store for the painting competition. Hoping to get a freebie out of it :D

He's all painted with the oil paints you see in the bottom right, by the way. No other materials other than basing paste, tufts, and primer. Pretty pleased with the outcome.

Yesterday I had a total of zero time for hobby but I still managed to get the basic structure for a ruined tower like @bno is currently constructing and valiantly emptied it while driving to and from Utrecht for a meeting.

Today I painted up the #Thrudball Legacy team mini some further. Happy enough with it and only basing left.

I worked on the bases of my blue horrors today.
I think the pot of paint is 3 or 4 years old, and it's was hard to work with it.
At first, I didn't think I would have enough.
I hit some painted parts, so I'll have to clean up later.
