I have done that. In my 60s.
Finding feminine clothing with usable pockets never stops being special.
This outfit gave such#regal #pyjamas… all #silk: gold #duopioni, red Thai and red and gold Chinese satin. The wrap dress also has #pockets, as do the loose cut trousers. #TAVCreationsOriginal

Please share your results! This last week, I determined that 5x7" were the perfect dimensions for a stretch #pocket to add to the numerous knit garments that I have, mistakenly made without #pockets. I've remedied that on several used garments and added a phone pocket to a newly-made garment.

Why I avoid #smart #technology (see link)...& I just don't need everything #connected. I have a #smartphone but #location & #bluetooth aren't on when I'm out. Often the #phone is off, nobody makes #womens #pockets to fit them & it seems a waste of a hand to carry it. #Cost, #privacy, constant #updates, & so much more to consider but most don't seem to. This CosTuber just posted a video about "the history of pockets", wherein she never mentions that men's clothing also didn't use to have pockets as part of clothing; like women's pockets, men's pockets were separate accessories, and were called purses when hanging from men's belts. That's where we get the whole "purse strings" and how it's unmanly when the wife "holds" them.
