Schönen guten Tag #fediverse,
auf der Suche nach einer Alternative zum Meta-Universum bin ich auf Empfehlung bei Mastodons gelandet und damit #neuhier .
Seit 2010 bin ich auf verschiedensten Veranstaltungen unterwegs, erzähle Geschichten über die #GrüneFee , berate Neugierige und gestandene Absintheure und vertreibe #Absinth aus eigener Produktion.

I don't care for egg nog and wine makes my feet burn (I like wine but my body doesn't tolerate sulfites) so I think I'll partake of a bit of the green stuff
This amazing image was posted by Dónal Hassett on twitter, who pointed out that in this poster, Vichy France condemned not only internationalism, communism & more, but also pastis. This must have been part of the Vichy ban on the "similaires d’absinthe", which lasted from 1940 to 1951!

World premiere of a new cocktail: "Toothache in the Afternoon." An Amazonian variation on Hemingway's classic absinthe/champagne cocktail "Death in the Afternoon." This consists of a glass of champagne and a shot of 'cachaça de jambu', an alcoholic preparation from the Brazilian Amazon with the *Acmella ciliata* plant, an absinthe relative and traditional remedy for toothache that puts the mouth to sleep.

Il s'agit d'un jeu BoB dans lequel on interprète des membres d'une communauté de parias dans les bas-fonds d'une station spatiale.

Anybody working in any #OSS projects they’re particularly enjoying contributing to?
It’s been a bit—this last year+ has been rough, between an exhausting move and health issues in the family—but I have recovered and have some energy to help somewhere outside work! Code, document, test, maintain, project manage—anyone up to something new and exciting & could use a helping hand?
(I loved writing #Absinthe for #Elixir, but I’m okay taking a break from GraphQL as a focus.)
