Steve SimonsThis is an African Spoonbill (Platalea alba), easily recognised by its striking all-white plumage and that distinctive spoon-shaped bill. That unusual bill isn’t just for show, it’s perfectly adapted for sweeping through shallow water in search of small fish, insects, and crustaceans.
