40 years of Amiga, 10 years of Boing Attitude: the publisher is celebrating these two anniversaries in a special way with the tenth issue of the Boing magazine. Also the Infrared multimedia pad is recognised by intuition, and there's a special device to manage the front panel, which can continue working if the amiga side is switched off, keep time and date, and has a few bytes of memory. Also #CDTV is the only Amiga with MIDI plugs integrated.

The program "Räuber & Beute" (Predator & Prey) for MorphOS, Windows and AmigaOS 3 by Ulrich Beckers is used to calculate, display and manipulate the population dynamics in a simple predator-prey system. The program is based on the Lotka-Volterra algorithm. It has also been extended with a few environmental parameters.

Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow is writing a desktop wiki whose content is written in Markdown. The wiki starts a local web server, which can then be accessed from any web browser. File and image uploads are still causing problems, but the wiki is already usable. For the time being, Sackrow is only providing an AmigaOS 3 build for testing.
iGame is a MUI-based frontend for starting WHDLoad games. George 'walkero' Sokianos has released version 2.4.5 for AmigaOS 2.04 and higher, AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS. The new information window provides more information about the selected game/demo, such as the year of release, the company/demo group that released it, the required chipset, etc.
Cameron Armstrong has developed a chat program called AmigaGPT, which is based on ChatGPT. The software supports the latest OpenAI models including the o1 family and runs on AmigaOS 3.1 and above (including 4.1) and on MorphOS. The source code of the tool can be downloaded separately.

PolarPaint is an experimental paint program written with Hollywood that requires a fast computer with RTG, at least a resolution of 1440x900x16 (program window is 1400x820), at least 40 MB free Fast RAM (64 MB or more recommended) and is available for AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, AROSx86 and WOS.

I have an account at the #amiga #amigaos3 #developer #forum, because i'm trying to use some #boospi ... an old API with absolutely no good examples around. Very hard if not impossible to do very simple things. and like 2 weeks to set up a compiler for the project. Well at least, 34 years after, there's a forum with 3 people on it.
