Finished running Hammer of the Gods, a new Trail of Cthulhu 2e pulp scenario and it went down well.
Two investigators flayed and eaten, one prematurely aged to dust and the last escaped gibbering into the cold night air.
Of course, being Pulp there were Nazis and their arses were kicked

Par exemple les #PbtA considèrent que le résultat négatif d'un jet n'indique pas nécessairement un échec mais une complication qui survient. Je trouve la porte secrète, mais en faisant un bruit qui réveille le monstre derrière.
D'autres systèmes de jeu sont totalement dédiés à l'enquête. L'enjeu n'est jamais si l'information sera découverte mais comment. Voir #Gumshoe, #BrindlewoodBay, ou #MagistratsEtManigances.

After all those years, I've finally got to start a campaign of @robindlaws's #DreamhoundsofParis! It's set in 1929 with Dali, Picasso, Eluard, Magritte and Artaud, and for this 1st session, a short one after explaining #TrailofCthulhu, #Gumshoe and the characters, we managed to get a lot of drama as an introduction session. That bodes so well for the rest of the campaign. Besides, my players are really into the surrealists, which helps a lot. @pelgranepress @foundryvtt #ttrpg #rpg

I really enjoy running #TrailofCthulhu based on @robindlaws' #Gumshoe system.
I was a huge fan of #xfiles as a kid. Ever since, I enjoy running supernatural horror mysteries.
Gumshoe comes with a simple yet brilliant idea: investigators' skills are divided into those that players have to roll (like Driving and Shooting) and those that ALWAYS work (everything used to gather clues).
It's a deceptively simple, yet utterly brilliant idea.
#RPGaDAY2023 Day 20: In 20 years' time, I'll most certainly still be running #NightsBlackAgents, and I've been at it for 10 years already. Beyond the #Gumshoe system that I love, I'm a sucker for (see what I did here?) spy stories and technothrillers, with or without vampires. Moreover, this game can easily adapt to the everchanging geopolitical situations around us from the angle of secret agents. #RPGaDAY2023 Day 19: My favourite published adventure is #DraculaDossier for #NightsBlackAgents. Its highly sandboxy format makes it the most replayable and thrilling campaign I know. I've run it several times and not one session was ever similar to any other ones. #RPGaDAY2023 Day 18: My favourite #ttrpg system is #Gumshoe hands down. It is both simple to use and versatile enough to be tailored for various fiction and #rpg genres. Its focus on investigation while making the PCs skilled and capable is typically the kind of games I enjoy. It's then no wonder it's been love at first sight with many @PelgranePress games for more than a decade! #RPGaDAY #JdR
Rumor confirmed that Trail of Cthulhu Second Edition is now in the works. As much as I love this game, it needs a new edition. The advice it gives is outdated and often confuses new players. It also needs a more newbie friendly adventure. (Apologies to Ken Hite, I like the adventure in Trail but it is too advanced.)
I've fallen into that #LandingPage rabbit hole, it was doomed to happen eventually, considering @foundryvtt and @dungeonalchemi1's powerful potential.
