At this point I think people should buy Palworld out of spite. It's one thing to say "Your Mon looks too much like our Mon", it's another to claim "We thousands of patents on game design that are just vague enough to sue anyone."

Even if you're not a fan, Nintendo winning this suit (even if it comes down to a settlement and burning tons of money for both) means setting a precedent that companies, especially Nintendo, actually own mechanics, which is absolute garbage for creative freedom, and kills any real potential for competition.
