The SkyTrain (subway/metro/tube in Metro Vancouver) exit closer to my house.
An exit to a street, with some 10~15 degrees uphill... the stairs at the left end of the exit have 9 steps.. then 7.. then 5 then 4 then 3.. then nothing..
a car in the middle of the photo gives in idea of how steep it is..

FlickrBroadway Subway ProjectThe Broadway Subway is an extension of the Millennium Line and a key link in Metro Vancouver’s transportation system. The 5.7-kilometre line will extend the existing SkyTrain system seamlessly from VCC-Clark Station and will be tunneled beneath the most congested section of the Broadway Corridor to a new terminus station at Arbutus Street. Once the Broadway Subway is open, the 99 B-Line service will continue to connect from Arbutus Street to the University of British Columbia. The Project will cost $2.83 billion, funded and delivered by the Government of B.C., with contributions from the Government of Canada and the City of Vancouver. The Broadway Subway project is a key part of the rapid transit program in Metro Vancouver’s Mayors’ Council 10-Year Vision. Familiar with this performance by artist Marina Abramovic in which she sits at a table and stares at various strangers while they stare back at her? This was me today on the Skytrain, sitting in the back seat of a Skytrain car, staring at the man sitting in the front seat of the Skytrain car behind us while he stared back at me. The Canada Line #Skytrain has better insulated trains I think, so they’re much quieter

Downside: Fairly busy, but not packed Saturday train and the CO2 is at 1545ppm 💨

So basically, everybody without a mask is breathing everybody else’s exhaled air 😷

And on this train-car with 50 people, right now 2 of them are probably infected (so far) 🦠
