🕶️ A view of its UI (on my Linux PC) with a white van on an urban map. The trees are animated by the wind, and a mini-map visualizes the turns to be negotiated. The graphics are magnificent (light mist, reflection of the sun on the vehicle, cast shadows, etc.).

📚️ Wasted! is a libre, multi-platform vehicle combat game in arenas and online, inspired by GTA Derby Destruction. It's also possible to train solo on the track. It currently (in development) offers 2 circuits, 6 vehicles, several soundtracks (radios to which the player connects), high-quality graphics, gamepad support and force feedback. Each vehicle has its own characteristics (speed, roadholding thanks to a physics engine), a nitro mode (for lightning acceleration) and can be customized (color). A very good and promising game.

📚️ BZFlag is a libre, multi-platform, multiplayer online team-based variant of Battle Zone, an FPS in which players compete in flying tanks and in teams (2-5 teams) in various game modes. Solo play against local AI is supported for training or map testing, however these AIs do not offer a real challenge and are generally not allowed on public servers. The tanks are light and fly, jump over obstacles, are equipped with lasers, guided missiles, super bullets, and most importantly powerful radar, so no one is safe and cannot hide.

🕶️ A behind view where we see a sports car on the side of a racetrack that has obviously hit a Citroen 2CV, with a message "YOU WASTED 'EM", and a small screen at the top left of the UI shows a woman with a helmet wearing a satisfied and devilish smile, all the rest of the interface reminds us of a car racing game (speedometer, credits, lap, ...).

📚️ Carmageddon is an old (1997, Stainless Games) vehicular combat game in which the player participates in a sordid race through 36 circuits (cities, mines, industrial areas) in a limited time where the winner is the one who has eliminated the other players, killed all the pedestrians or finished first. By crushing the pedestrians, the player obtains bonuses and credits that allow him to gain time and improvements for his vehicle. The cars are deformable on impact. Dethrace is a libre compatible engine in development. By June 2024, 92% of the functions required for its operation have been implemented.
