#WIPWednesday Bakewell Old House went to the photographers yesterday for prints. I thought I'd share how I mount my work. Rather than lacing over a board (such a faf!) I stretch the fabric over acid free, 5mm foam board. Pinning into the sides, I can adjust until it'ssquare. I'll remove the bobble head pins before framing just leaving the T pins, which lie flat.

This WIP Wednesday also happens to be World Embroidery Day. Coincidentally, I spent most of my time on this piece this week. My hand spun yarn isn't perfect; it's thick and thin in this part of the skein and in a few spots I over twisted one of the singles. Also, I admit these two couched circles look like miniature braided rugs and I love them anyway. The fiber (and great colors!) are from @threewatersfarm, spinning and embroidery by your truly. #WIPWednesday @fiberart
