The first apple blossoms of the year have opened!

My apple tree has blossom!

Honey bees and apple blossoms. Saw a bumble bee too but it had no desire to stay on a blossom for more than a half second.

The first blossoms are open on the Gravenstein apple trees.

Remember those branches from my apple tree, that I put in a vase after pruning? I have apple blossom now!

Last week I did some pruning in my garden. I removed these branches from my apple tree, and was tipped by a colleague to put them in a vase. They're developing green tips! So, hopefully, I will also see some apple blossom later on
