the biggest laugh in all this is albanese saying *the greens* have lost their way.

i think a lot of the greens policies are silly, and their housing policies betray a deep lack of understanding about economics, but they are within their rights to block labor legislation. it’s the system, and labor are just a little too precious for my taste.

labor don’t have much better policies, and the level of debate in this country is tragic. is it the press to blame? the era of 30 minute sound bites? are we just devoid of ideas, or are we in thrall to political fund-raising?

Um Brian is telling bullshit on a scale equal to Crunk.

In discussing "the end of the world" Brian adds Andromeda arriving at our galaxy as if it were a hammer. Or car crash.

But he knows not a single star will be disturbed in EITHER galaxy, at best a slow Waltz of star groups OBLIVIOUS to the galactic dance will happen, again. (May have happened already once)

Currently approaching 30 hours without power from the grid. Batteries got to 55% overnight and are now recharging. #SDGE

Our internet has been up and down for the last 24 hours. Currently it’s back up, and there’s two #cox trucks sitting on the street in front of the neighborhood substation. They appear to be there for one purpose… to keep the generator that they plugged into it running.

This is over and above the total incompetence of the in home techs. Who’s ideas at the old house ranged from “don’t plug your cable modem into a UPS” and “unplug your soundbar” when the problem was incompatible firmware they had sent to my modem causing it to endlessly reboot.

I am beyond frustrated dealing with this company.
