Επίσημη Διακήρυξη Απεργίας Γρήγορου Θανάτου – Στρατόπεδο Προσφύγων Φιλιππιάδας (9 Απριλίου 2025)

Δηλώνω επισήμως ότι από τις 9 Απριλίου 2025, ξεκίνησα απεργία γρήγορου θανάτου με τη μορφή απεργίας πείνας θανάτου στην τοποθεσία που αναφέρεται ως στρατόπεδο προσφύγων στη Φιλλιπιάδα Άρτας.

Δεν θα δεχτώ καμία ιατρική ή διατροφική παρέμβαση που αποσκοπεί στη διατήρηση της ζωής.

Αιτία για την απεργία γρήγορου θανάτου: Έχοντας επιβιώσει από δεκαετίες βασανιστηρίων υπό το τουρκικό κράτος, αναζήτησα προστασία βάσει των δικαιωμάτων ασύλου που διασφαλίζονται από τα Ηνωμένα Έθνη και ζήτησα άσυλο στην Ελλάδα.

Δεδομένου ότι έχω στενά μέλη της οικογένειας και γνωστούς που διαμένουν στη Βόρεια Ευρώπη, ζήτησα άδεια να μεταβώ σε μία από αυτές τις χώρες.

Ωστόσο, τους τελευταίους 22 μήνες:

Έχω υποβληθεί σε διάφορες πρακτικές απανθρωποποίησης και απομόνωσης.

Η αίσθηση του προσανατολισμού μου έχει επηρεαστεί βαθιά.

Δεν έχω πλέον ξεκάθαρη κατανόηση του πού βρίσκομαι.

Εκτός από τη χρήση ενός τηλεφώνου Android (του οποίου την αυθεντικότητα δεν μπορώ καν να επιβεβαιώσω), έχω στερηθεί κάθε μέσο για να επικοινωνήσω με τους συγγενείς και τους φίλους μου.

Για 22 μήνες, έχω ζήσει σε μια κατάσταση αβεβαιότητας και ψυχικής εξάρθρωσης, ρωτώντας επανειλημμένα τον εαυτό μου,

"Πού είμαι;"

Η αίτησή μου για άσυλο εκκρεμεί εδώ και 22 μήνες χωρίς λύση και δεν έχει δοθεί χρονοδιάγραμμα ή αιτιολόγηση.

Ως εκ τούτου, ζητώ με σεβασμό τα εξής:

Α. Μια σαφή και διαφανή εξήγηση, σε γλώσσα που μπορώ να καταλάβω, σχετικά με τους λόγους για τον παρατεταμένο και άνισο χειρισμό της διαδικασίας ασύλου μου.

Β. Να εξεταστεί η αίτησή μου για άσυλο από αμερόληπτη επιτροπή, υπό την επίβλεψη της Ύπατης Αρμοστείας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για τους Πρόσφυγες (UNHCR).

Γ. Να μου χορηγηθεί άδεια ταξιδιού που μου επιτρέπει να μεταφερθώ σε χώρα της Βόρειας Ευρώπης όπου έχω δημιουργήσει οικογενειακές και κοινωνικές σχέσεις.

Σημείωση: Εάν υπάρχουν αμφιβολίες σχετικά με τη νομιμότητα αυτής της απεργίας πείνας - η οποία περιλαμβάνει μόνο την κατανάλωση νερού και καφέ - είμαι ανοιχτός να υποβληθώ σε ιατρική εξέταση.

Subject: Formal Declaration of Fast Death Strike – Phillipiada Refugee Camp (April 9, 2025)

I hereby formally declare that as of April 9, 2025, I have commenced a fast death strike in the form of a death fast at the location referred to as the refugee camp in Phillipiada, Arta. I will not accept any medical or nutritional interventions intended to sustain life.

Reason for the Fast Death Strike:

Having survived decades of torture under the Turkish state, I sought protection under the asylum rights granted by the United Nations and applied for asylum in Greece.

Since I have close family members and acquaintances residing in Northern Europe, I requested permission to transit to one of those countries.

However, for the past 22 months:

I have been subjected to various dehumanizing and isolating practices.

My sense of orientation has been deeply affected; I no longer have a clear understanding of where I am. Other than the use of an Android phone (whose authenticity I cannot even confirm), I have been deprived of all means to contact my relatives and friends.

For 22 months, I have lived in a state of uncertainty and mental dislocation, repeatedly asking myself, “Where am I?”

My asylum application has been pending for 22 months without resolution, and no timeline or justification has been provided.
Therefore, I respectfully request the following:

A. A clear and transparent explanation, in a language I can understand, regarding the reasons for the prolonged and unequal handling of my asylum procedure.

B. That my asylum application be reviewed by an impartial commission, under the supervision of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

C. That I be granted a travel permit allowing me to transfer to a Northern European country where I have established family and social connections.

Note: If there are any doubts concerning the legitimacy of this hunger strike—which involves only the consumption of water and coffee—I am open to undergoing a medical examination.

Toni Chavero Begins New Hunger Strike in Solidarity with Marcelo Villarroel

From the extermination center of Aranjuez (Madrid), a territory occupied by the Spanish state, we receive and disseminate.

With some delay (because of these useless people, as usual) we received a letter from Toni Chavero, who has been transferred from Estremera to Aranjuez, both extermination centers located in Madrid. In his letter, Toni denounces the “low intensity” repressive situation to which he is being subjected. To make him explode and make him end up in isolation. Retention of personal belongings, packages returned with a disgusting and trashy reasoning, retention of money and other tasks typical of these savage bastards, to make daily life more difficult. In addition to the struggle he maintains on a personal level, in addition to actively and passively denouncing every swear against him or close comrades, Toni asks us to make public this statement that we publish below in which he announces a new hunger strike that began last Friday the 15th, in solidarity with Marcelo Villarroel, for his immediate release. It is the third hunger strike that Toni has started, in solidarity with his imprisoned comrade in Chile.

It states:

In view of the forecast of my protest calendar, for the unwavering support and solidarity with anti-authoritarian prisoners around the world, I return on this occasion to support once again Marcelo Villarroel, kidnapped by the terrorist state of Chile under the military laws of Pinochet, the genocidal dictator. I am forced, once again, to vindicate the kidnapping in which our comrade is being held. Despite what happens to me in this infected pit to which I have been brought, Marcelo’s kidnapping is the main reason why I start my hunger strike. To make visible the situation of Marcelo Villarroel, kidnapped under obsolete laws when they are interested, making them valid when they are not. Prevailing in a state of law without rights, the world upside down for Marcelo. Laws that are enforced by a state of genuine terrorists/legislators.

If you were in the Spanish State, Marcelo, they would have you under the law of vagabonds and thugs, they would apply the law of escapes, the shitty Francoists would want to give you a vile garrotte. Like the damn Boric, disguised as a progressive, because they are the real terrorists, comrade. We are only guilty of being anarchists and libertarians, guilty of loving. We are proud to be guilty, irretrievable. Irretrievably aware of our condition as human beings. Marcelo, from this cage you will hear a cry for freedom. Marcelo, a comrade, a cry of rebellion and friendship.

On Friday, November 15, I begin the hunger strike, I don’t know how long, because there are not enough walls or barriers to separate our brotherhood. There are no distances that silence our voices, comrades on the lines, in the prison or in the street, on the barricades, from outside and from within, demanding your liberation, telling the corrupt Chilean State that enough is enough. That’s enough.

From this cage I have sent letters denouncing your situation, for cooperating with your kidnapping, to the Chilean embassy in Madrid and they will have to listen to us in silence because this reason cannot be refuted. There are no arguments. From Iberia we shout for your release. Free Marcelo, you bastards!

For a society without cages, comrade. Here we are, a heartbeat away.
