Anybody else ever had pythonjsonlogger just never install correctly? I’ve got two projects I inherited using it and I absolutely cannot satisfy the dependency no matter what I do. I feel like there’s got to be a simple explanation I’m just over looking. python-json-logger is in the requirements.txt and is installed in my venv but I cannot access it and it doesn’t work when deployed as a container image either.

Have you ever seen a #LogRotate library that doesn't *perform* the actions itself, but just tells you what it *would* do, given some hypothetical input set of files?

I'm trying to do log rotation (well, #backup rotation) over #SFTP, and whilst I can script some dumb rotation scheme, it'd be lovely to lean on some properly tested code instead! #logs #logging #logrotation #backups
