The thing about fresh powdery snow, that doesn't come through in photos, is the time dimension of the sparkles. You can zoom in on this photo and see a few sparkles that are catching the sun. But if you're there in person and you're walking, the sparkles are moving and shifting and dazzling and multiplying

i had this on the backburner for a few months, but i'm okay with how it turned out!

- I've got to do something about the Friday dancers. Adding one a week is chaos. There's either a mass of overlapping flailing limbs or the dancers are TINY.

- Ah. Shame. You going to archive the first thirty away & start a new one?

- Yeah, yeah, we've been here before, I know what you said.

The Friday dancers like to be topical when they can, but New Year is annoyingly on a Monday so they are celebrating the in-between days; reflecting on the past, anticipating the future.

And dancing, very badly, obvs.

Been a loooooong week but I'm done. Woohoo!

Friday dancer number 25 is giving the floss a go. They would very much like it if you didn't point out that their arms should be straight. They are, deep down, a very bendy people and they couldn't keep that hidden.

*ahem*

Anyhoo... here's to a fine weekend, full of fine things, for all you fine people.

Oh my goodness. Today is the closest I've got to not managing my weekly Friday dancer for the rainbow cloud. Been a super-busy week.

BUT

Week 24. Couldn't miss it. I call this dance "accidentally glued my foot to the floor, but I'm not going to let that stop me".
