But what I REALLY ended up wanting to do was spin up a clone of my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/nixos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#nixos</a> setup! Of course, doing so was trivial, and I'm stoked! Runs sooo damn good, too (duh)...even built surface patch to get touch functionality 😎🤘 :nixos:

Constant GeekeryPlaying with the Surface Pro 9 i7 model. Trialling this as a replacement for my iPad Pro.The i7 can keep up with the M1/M2, but by default the Windows power settings give you about half that performance. x86 still cannot compete with Arm's energy efficiency. But you can turn it up and you can make use of all the available performance, unlike with iPadOS.
