Mediterranean cruises are port-intensive ones so we had a stop on the very first day at Naples. We opted to take a tour that visited a cameo workshop then took us on a guided walk around Herculaneum. Herculaneum, like Pompeii, was buried under volcanic ash in 79 CE when Vesuvius erupted.

#China #USA
