I don't know that. I use #Tidal and #resonate. As far as I know, the former has a more fair system of paying the artists and the latter is a bit more specialized but open source.

there is no subscription fee, but you pay for each stream of a song. after 9 plays a song is free (having spent 1.25 for the song in total. the price grows exponentially, i.e. doubles for every play.
i love how this incentivizes discovery of new songs, while not punishing you for streaming your favorites all day every day. i wouldn't be surprised if it ends up cheaper than eg spotify

How come the resonate #coop did not gain more momentum in the last couple of years? The business model seams to make a big difference for artists. Let alone listener's #privacy and modes of participation.
Some artists I know are now looking for ways out of #spotify lock-in since latest news about the #ai military investments.

@vatolin also, mal ehrlich. Wie kommst Du darauf, dass es sich bei #resonate um einen Facebook-Köder handelte. So gut wie alles (mit Ausnahme des fehlenden Impressums und anderer rechtlicher Angaben) spricht gegen ein schmieriges Startup. Es ist ein – zugegebenermaßen sehr seltenes – Exemplar für eine Kooperativ-Plattform. Genau auf sowas habe ich gewartet. Und sie scheinen traurigerweise vor sich hinzukrebsen.
