I just learned that Major Brian Shul just passed away. He was our guest on Airplane Geeks Episode 375 back in 2015. Recall that he was shot down in Viet Nam, suffered severe life-threatening burns, rescued in a special forces mission, presumed he'd die from his injuries, spent a year in the hospital, and despite all odds became a Top Gun instructor and an SR-71 pilot.
