When a jogger runs into your #ShadowSelfie, just go with the flow.
Je suis idiot. Gears stopped shifting mid-ride and I thought the cable spool in the shifter had stripped and took as flat a route as I could home stuck in highest gear. Only once home did I notice that in fact the cable had just slipped at the mech end and I could probably have fixed it on the trail.
