Eine Woche haben wir mit Textilien, Haarklemme, Teesieb, Nieten, Spitze, Knöpfen herumgetüftelt. Es entstanden eine Waldrapp-Primaballerina und ein Teebär.
A mild, still night produced a high number of #moths. First set of highlights included
1) Pale Tussock Moth - huge floofy legs
2) Miller - as if doused in milled flour
3) Iron Prominent - dark and moody
4) Poplar Lutestring - neat and tidy little thing

My #digitalpainting "The Magic Forest" shows #fantastic #creatures in a mysterious forest of an undetermined future on Earth. #People are not visible in my painting, and I am not at all inclined to be pessimistic, but I do criticize the current #globaltrend towards #nationalism and the rejection of measures against #humanmade #globalwarming. We need to think more about those who are not yet born today but will be at the zenith of their lives in 2050.

Throwback Thursday: Preview of the ZX Spectrum version of Creatures. Whatever happened to John Wildsmith?
Meant to include photos of our other #compost bins, made of old #pallets picked up from our local #garden #centre
These tend to take everything other than the #autumn #leaf drop. They're a favourite place to find #grass #snake #eggs if I turn them too soon.
Trouble with pallets is that they compost too, at an amazing rate. The remains get piled up elsewhere as a #winter #home for other small #creatures.
