#Owl 🦉 lays #Egg / #Eggs 🥚 which hatch(es) into #Owlet / #Owlets 🐣 which have a decent chance of eating the #Snake / #Lucifer / (anyone not a #Christofascist) 🐍 and if not it dies when the young leave the nest. I guess the parents eat it. Or it cannot climb down tree? Kinda hard to see why not. So, parents are smart enough to eat it when the kids are gone.

Any #Biologists with an expertise on #ScreechOwl want to check my work?

Amazing! I could count the number of times I've seen an Owlet-nightjar on the fingers of one hand. And this is the first time I've ever seen out of its tree hollow during the day. Didn't see any of the Owls I was looking for there, but this more than made up for it. #wildoz #owlet-nightjar #notanowl
