Rnote 0.12 Released with Improved Linux Note-Taking Features
A major new release of Rnote, an open-source app for taking handwritten notes, sketching out ideas and annotating documents and pictures, is out. Rnote 0.12 brings several new features, new customisation and configuration options, user experience buffs, bug fixes, and other lower-level tune-ups. For those unfamiliar with it, Rnote is a digital note-taking app built using GTK4 and Rust. It’s primarily intended to be used with stylus input (so includes pen pressure, stroke styles, button actions, etc) but supports typed text entry, shapes, importing images, etc too. Rnote offers a range of document layouts, from fixed pages to infinite canvases,

Je teste #Rnote https://github.com/flxzt/rnote pour griffonner (c'est comme marmonner mais avec un crayon) sur l'écran plutôt qu'au dos des cartons de pâtes (que je préfère réserver aux dessins des enfants 
). Ça me semble pratique. On peut exporter en SVG ou dans un PDF.

Yeah I won't even bother trying to explain it to them because it's complicated as shit and they would only worry even more.
Also I love #rnote. What an amazing #GNOME app. Even though I won't use the drawing, it was good practice to try and use it. And it's written in #rust
been using my #pinephonepro with the #nexdock daily for all my engineering classes for about a month now, and loving it so far! some programs i was pleasantly surprised by include #logisim, #rnote, and #eclipseide. i didn't expect these programs to work well but they are actually so useful and work just as well, if not a bit slower, than on my thinkpad. up next i'll need to install #wine and #ltspice for more circuit design :)
I just moved from #XournalPlusPlus to #rnote as it is finally available on #postmarketos and #alpine (#aports).
Gotta love the infinite canvas and the ability to import multiple PDF files.
rnote is pretty fun. I installed it mostly for freehand note taking/annotations but it's also a nice simple doodle/sketch application too.
