Again: how to disable random MAC addresses in #postmarketos #phosh version reliably ?
This seems to be a random feature - no pun intended
Sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it doesn't.
After a reboot it sometimes uses the real MAC address. After a while the NetworkManager chooses a different (random) MAC as the real one shown in the command
"ip address show".
If I restart the NetworkManager service it overrides the real one previously shown in the cli with the one it has chosen prior to the restart. After a reboot it is, again, a different MAC address

The wonderful #postmarketos #phosh edition blocks internet access to https://mirror.postmarketos.org/ but lets me connect to the same site with http but blocks access to fwupd.org and cdn.fwupd.org.
Any suggestion what I can do to successful download the LVFS metadata instead of always getting a "timed out" error?
Why is https blocked ?
Without connection to the Internet this device is useless because 4G VoLTE is
obviously not supported but a requirement of my provider.

@mr3d là j'ai #Mobian avec #Phosh sur mon #PinePhonePro, c'est le dernier truc que j'avais mis pour tester.
C'est loin d'être parfait, mais ça pourrait me suffire, ne fut-ce que temporairement.
Par contre je ne suis pas certain du tout que tous les petits bugs bizarres aient été résolus: le téléphone va-t-il toujours se réveiller, recevoir tous les appels... on verra, là je sais passer des appels, les recevoir, et j'ai même eu un premier sms :-)
When going to higher display resolutions in #phosh #stevia's 
can become a bit small to type with (as our 
s usually don't adjust to display size). I've thus cooked up an MR that allows to keep the physical size of the OSK constant (in portrait mode for now).
On top of that one can add a "dead zone" at the bottom of the OSK which helps on taller devices like the #OP6 as the 
otherwise tends to tilt when typing on the bottom row.
For me this is a typing speed booster.

#Phosh's compositor #phoc got updated to the latest stable #wlroots release 0.19.0 giving us all the goodies from there. Apart from that it now remembers your phone's display resolution in case you want something different than the calculated default. It also supports adaptive sync now and gained support for protocols like shortcuts-inhibit.

I am by no means an expert in those things but I got a linux OS running on a new smartphone.
This is a Fairphone 6 running PostmarketOS with Phosh and I love it.

@phosh A bit late to the party, but better late than never! I'm using #phosh 0.45* on my #Librem5 daily driver with #postmarketOS. Expect to get 0.47 after I upgrade pmOS to 25.06 hopefully soon : )
* Couldn't find a way to check phosh version, so got this based on pmOS + phosh release notes.
