I'd been planning to hold off on this short comic until it was complete and then release it on itch, but since that publication pathway seems dubious, fuck it, I'm just gonna start publishing it on my site as I go.
I'm not planning on a regular release schedule for this, since I don't want it to impact on Charmed Away. I'll publish pages sporadically as I'm happy with them. (I'm hoping for a few pages every fortnight.)
One of the great gifts of growing up is discovering the exquisite art of solitude. What was once an uncomfortable silence is now a luxury. The house is quiet, and I can dance in the kitchen without judgment and simply do nothing. My best company is me, with coffee, a good movie, and the freedom to be, because solitude is not an absence, it is a fullness and peace of mind.

Took advantage of the cooler weather and hauled the kayak to the next lake before the heat returns. 7.5 km of paddling later with a swim afterwards and I'm done for the day.
My latest music release, “Carina Nebula (Mystic Mountain)” performed by Brian J. Podesta and recorded 3/1/2025 at Wachusett Recording Studio, Princeton MA. This is a 10-minute relaxing ambient piece that I use for morning stretching and meditation sessions.

I return to this place time and again and it never fails to work its peaceful charm on me. When the sun shines and the light hits the leaves and the water I find it soothing and exhilarating. I cannot be anything other than calm and full of joy.
I hope everyone has a place like this where they can be alone and know what the world can be. This place is about 300 metres away from a bustling car park. I have never met a soul here.
When London Town isn’t as busy during certain days in the spring or summer seasons, the city loves embracing the solitude in the atmosphere.

RMiddleton.Art I will discuss voluntary #solitude. I only know a couple people whom I feel it's safe to talk to at any time, no matter how I feel. These I consider true friends. Others who fall under the category of friends (?) are so driven by their own motivations that I feel they do not pause, listen, absorb my input. Having 2 true #friends is significant, because all humans are swept up in our own lives of course. With good friends we share, listen, & reflect more than we push for specific outcomes.
