! This is the view up the spiral staircase in Palazzo Boncompagni. In Italian, a spiral staircase is called a "Scala a chiocciola" and "chiocciola" is the word for snail (and the @ symbol)!

I love #watertowers but unfortunately I've only been able to get into very few of them so far. Maybe they're more beautiful from the outside, but this #staircase is worth a visit... :)
