Post 4/n of a visit to the Shanghai Natural Wild Insect Kingdom on 23 June 2024. A Panther Chameleon (Furcifer pardalis), Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum) and two Axolotls (Ambystoma mexicanum), a wild and leucistic form. The leucistic (white) form is the one usually found in captivity, which is why most people think the Axolotl looks like that.

Still a #newbie here, but it’s time to make an #introduction. I’m a #GenXer nonpartisan #leftie in #Regina #SK. Once upon a time I got a BFA in Stage Mgt & Tech #Theatre and worked around the country for 10 years. Left that behind because of #burnout and moved onto a new path. My skills transfered over well to #museum work. For the last decade I’ve been part of the #exhibits team at the Royal Sask Museum. I love museum work and hope to be at it for the long haul!
