This is very very true (and I will pretend I didn’t put way too much money in skins in LoL and spend way too much time personalizing my Tiny Tina and Diablo characters instead of playing the actual game)

10 years ago, my #equity theories of action revolved around attainment of standards: “all students will achieve at grade-appropriate levels.” Today, it’s all about #personalization: “all students will realize the promises of our mission toward their individual aspirations.” That feels like a proper and good evolution. #education #school #students @edutooters @edutooter
@Sirsquid It already has one, located under Explore > Posts in the official web client. The important part is that the algorithm itself is open source and documented, and you can easily opt out (or just not opt in) to using it, and use your own alternative algorithm (in a different client, even) if you want.
