Why Schrödinger's Cat is just a thought experiment:

By building the box with the poison dispenser & putting the cat in it, you're already entangled with the cat and it can't be in superposition relative to you.

Even if you had a stranger build it, you're still entangled with that stranger, because the designed the experiment and invited you to observe.

The absolute superposition required by the thought experiment is actually not possible.
